Scientific:
RAVATAN Z® Ophthalmic solution (travoprost ophthalmic solution 0.004%) is used to reduce elevated intraocular pressure (IOP) in patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension who may be intolerant to other IOP lowering medications or for whom other medications do not sufficiently lower IOP. It is a new formulation that replaces benzalkonium chloride (BAK) with a preservative system that is gentle to the ocular surface.
